On Sunday (8th December), the Panama Boys will be playing on the lawn at Woollaston Estate from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Entry is free so why not take a picnic lunch or purchase a platter and some wine there while enjoying excellent music?
The Panama Boys play an entertaining repertoire of swing, retro pop, funk and light Latin. Drummer and vocalist Adrian Kingsford studied music in the USA and then spent several years entertaining on cruise ships. Barry Korcheski (Hammond organ/vocals) also has considerable international experience. Iain Clark (sax) has a love for most forms of jazz and also has a background of Rock ‘n Roll and dance music. And Raffael Bandoli, Italian trumpet player extraordinaire will be joining the group as special guest. See the Panama Boys link above for more information regarding these great musicians.
You can also catch the RDD duo of Raffaele Bandoli (trumpet) and Daisuke Minamizawa (keyboard) at the Melrose House Café this Saturday (7th December) from midday until 4:30pm.
Both shows offer a great opportunity to enjoy great music in pleasant surroundings with first class refreshments.
